The ultimate time for gorilla trekking tour and wildlife safari is right here with Gorilla Safari Tours. Gorilla permits at 600US dollars to be paid in advance to make the travel plan convenient. Once the permit is secured, you remain with no doubt for the safari. The safari is for 6 Days starting from Kigali to Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Access from Kigali is via Katuna to Kabale and then to Ntugamo, Ishaka and Bushenyi to Queen Elizabeth then connect to Bwindi direct through Ishasha southern sector famously known for the African tree climbing lions and we were so lucky to spot them in the branches of the fig trees as well as viewing other wildlife like the elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, topi, oribi among others.
Day one was a travel schedule to Queen Elizabeth where we reached a bit late at 4pm only to rest at the Mweya Safari Lodge and refresh for the next day. Very early in the morning on day two, we prepared to start our wildlife tour early enough looking for the early riser animals like the lions and leopards and other animals and after this 3 – 4 hours experience we had our hot lunch at the lodge as we wait for our afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel and this cruise is approximately 3 hours and we enjoyed the scenic view of the landscapes and the wildlife at the banks of the channel. The trip involved activities like chimpanzee walk in the Kyambura George which is their natural environment. Nature walks; is one of the most ways to explore the landscapes and wildlife in this park. and it can be done also in Maramagambo forest, Ishasha River and Mweya peninsula with its scenic views. All these create a great opportunity to spot forest and Savannah species as well as getting extremely close to hippos on foot. Game drives; for a classic safari like we had with Nature Adventure Africa Safaris, drives through Kasenyi and Ishasha offer a variety of wild creatures such as buffalo, antelope, elephant along with warthogs and baboons. Further still, a guided track in the early morning offers a successful spot to the pride of lions and leopards. As I said earlier, many activities in this park and surely you cannot exquisite all of them on short holiday visit. This assures my coming back to Queen Elizabeth very soon to accomplish my dream.
Day five in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for the credible gorilla safari experience the Uganda’s gateway and making it unforgettable and makes your repay efforts double for you to reach Bwindi every time you come to Uganda. It is at this park that your Gorilla permit serves the right purpose and makes life different in the ultimate Gorilla world. Gorilla homes are in four sectors; Nkuringo, Buhoma, Ruhija, and Rushaga where by each sector has got more than one Gorilla family except Nkuringo which hosts only one family. Here the choice remains in your hands to choose when to track the gorillas in the mist. Had great chance to track Nkuringo where giants of giants were spotted minding their own business. The track seemed to be a little bit challenging due to the distance they moved extending deep looking for food on the previous day but it later turned out to be an added advantage because it really favored us to spot other wildlife creatures such as monkeys and birds. I cannot imagine the flowing memories after a six days gorilla Safari hence calling for my immediate booking again to fulfill my life dream.
